Me again,
Well, it looks like the end has more or less been reached. I have found some aspects of 2.0 more interesting and more useful than others. Will I use some of these tools that I have discovered? Perhaps. Certainly it is a question of how much time one has! I do understand that in a program such as this it is difficult to escape alot of computer jargon and it is not always easy to grasp some of it, particularly for those of us who are not terribly computer savvy. Still, I wouldn't say it was a total waste of time! Thankyou for introducing us to this brave new world, I hope most other participants concur!

Hi! Yes, have gone back to this particular item. I did have trouble grasping this one, but have gone back into it. Basically rollyo is a searchroll, a collection of sites that provides search results from chosen sites. I looked at parenting sites, and while it is a handy tool, I still think it's just as quick to type the website in each time you want to go to it. I am not sure how to save the rollyo directory to favourites.

Week 9 cont...
Hi again...
Well, have just taken some time to check out podcasts. Basically, these are audio or video broadcasts over the web. I did attempt to access podcast.net and listen to a podcast of an old film, but it took forever to download, so gave up. Sorry. It would have been good to add to my blog however. With podcast alley you have to actually subscribe to the pocast you wish to listen to, and sorry, I don't have that great an interest. Still, I'm sure it's useful for those who have the time! I did take time to look at Worldebook Fair site. This is interesting, but again, you are asked to subscribe. I discovered that there are 52 entries under audio book titles for Rober Louis Stevenson! Fascinating! It was also interesting to see that authors are sorted by first name and then surname.
